Laissez les bon temps
Kenzie is the name and reading is my game. I am 28 years old and from the great state of Louisiana. When I was in the 5th grade my teacher had us read a book, The House of Dies Drear by Virginia Hamilton. This is what started my love for books. I even ran to my local book store and made them order it for me just so I, myself, could read it over and over. After this I didn't really start reading again until I forced myself to watch...yes...the Twilight movie. Granted most might love that movie but I didn't and couldn't understand what was so great about this whole thing, that is until I picked up the whole series to read. That was it, all it took was reading the whole series in a week for me to get hooked into reading as many books as I could. I mainly read Young Adult books simply because I feel as though the authors know that their young readers really want to be transferred into a whole other world. I have talked many people into reading, all it takes is one book, one good book, and they are hooked. I believe that anybody can find a love for it and I will gladly help anybody find the one book to get them started. THIS is why I am now a book blogger.
MY NAME IS KENZIE AND I HAVE AN ADDICTION, THEY SAY THE FIRST STEP IS ADMITTING YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.
My name is Dani, you know like DANNY. I am 27 years old and from northwest Louisiana. Before I was forced to read The House of Night series by my friend Kenzie, I could never understand why anybody could be so lost in a book. See I am more of that outdoors kind of girl, always keeping busy and never thought I would or wanted to find the time to pick up a book and read. You know how in high school you are forced to read THOSE books for a grade or something, I watched the movie to save me the pain of it all. Now I read as much as I can, even 2-3 books at a time. Currently I mostly read Young Adults but I am starting to get into other genres. I enjoy being taken into a world other than my own for the time that I have that book in my hand.
READING HAS BECOME MY ADDICTION AND I REFUSE TO SEEK HELP.
